B.A., University of Arizona; M.A., University of Oklahoma; Ph.D., University of Wisconsin, Madison.  Professor Weisiger's work examines conservation policy and environmental and social justice in an effort to create usable histories that foster more sustainable places. Her current research focuses on Western rivers; for more information on her background and research please visit her personal website. Dr. Weisiger is the author of the 2009 book Dreaming of Sheep in Navajo Country and the 1996 book Land of Plenty: Oklahomans in the Cotton Fields of Arizona.  Teaches Environmental History of the Pacific Northwest, The American West in Popular Culture, and American Environmental History.
