Summer 2017 PNWFS Application

This is an application for the Summer 2017 Pacific Northwest Preservation Field School at the Fenn Ranger Station in the Nez Perce National Forest, Idaho.

Priority will be given to applications received before June 1, 2017. Later applications will be reviewed, or waitlisted, depending on the availability of space.

Statement of Interest (not required for incoming UO HP students)
Please upload a one-page statement which explains your interest in preservation, your relevant professional and educational background, and what you expect to contribute and learn from the Field School experience.

Do you want academic credit for this field school?
If you are not a University of Oregon student, and want academic credit, after acceptance to the Field School you must submit A) transcripts from all colleges attended and B) one letter of recommendation (academic or professional).

Director's Scholarship
This award covers the cost for one field school session ($1250) with up to an additional $100 travel allowance ($1350 total). It is open to all field school participants. Applicants will be asked to upload a concise essay, no more than 600 words, separate from the general statement of interest. The essay should demonstrate how you have benefited from previous educational opportunities, and also present your aspirations in the field of historic preservation. Applications are due June 1, 2017.
